As a food reviewer, I was captivated by the array of offerings at TĪNG. So so delicious! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent everything. A wonderful day to spend our last day in England, with two of our party celebrating birthdays thank you! My only negative was 3 waters costing 25. Granted I’m from a country where water is free but still. I think for a meal costing 89 PLUS 30 of a discretionary service charge added, water should be automatically included without costing extra.

We had a great lunch here. Seat right by the window, seating was a bit low but quite comfy. The food was really tasty and the service was excellent. We were never rushed and thought it was good value for money. We would definitely recommend it, and we will be back.

A Truly Outstanding Afternoon Tea Experience at Ting – The Shard My recent afternoon tea experience at Ting, The Shard was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with the utmost care and hospitality — the service was impeccable, and every staff member made me feel welcome and well looked after. The afternoon tea itself was absolutely divine. With unlimited tea, coffee, and food, it felt like an indulgent treat that never ended — and every bite was made to an incredibly high standard. The selection of savouries and desserts was beautifully presented, with scones and sweets that were genuinely irresistible. You could taste the quality and attention to detail in everything served. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the staff. They were not only friendly and professional, but also exceptionally attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The views from the Shard added another level of magic to the whole experience — it’s hard to beat sipping tea while taking in the breathtaking London skyline. I also want to give a very special thanks to Regina Celeste Ahmed, the Assistant Restaurant Manager, who went above and beyond to resolve a previous issue I had. Her quick, sincere, and thorough response completely transformed my impression and showed just how much the Ting team values their guests. I’m truly grateful for the way she handled everything with such professionalism and kindness. All in all, I couldn’t recommend Ting enough — especially for afternoon tea. It’s more than worth the money, and you’ll leave feeling like you got far more than what you paid for. Incredible food, outstanding service, and a truly memorable experience.

We booked an afternoon (weekday) tea experience at Ting as a splurge treat to ourselves during our London vacation. Our server was Daniel (Danny). Looking back on our trip, our time at Ting was likely one of the most memorable experiences out of our entire vacation. Everything was delicious and Danny was a gem. He walked us through how the experience would go and was very attentive. Our window seat overlooked the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and the Thames. 10/10 recommend this afternoon tea experience. For the price point, it is hard to beat. Oh, do yourself the favor and pay the extra 1 to add the non-alcoholic drink to the package; it was delicious. **make a reservation in advance**

We were at Ting at Shangri-La hotel celebrating our anniversary. We were lucky that Medina was our waitress, she was very nice and helpful explaining all the menus answering all questions, smiling all the time. Sure we welcome again and recommend the restaurant for our friends Mohammed and Mona 9 June 2025 Riyadh Saudi Arabia

It was amazing and very premium experience. We got a table looking at the Tower Bridge on a sunny day. My favourite were the scones - they were warm and melted in my mouth. Live music was a nice addition as a background. The theme was - Love is in the air. We did not manage to eat all the desserts and they were so nice to pack them for us “to go”. And you can try as many teas as you desire. Keep in mind that there is a service charge extra in your bill. Definitely try it out - it will not disappoint.

Probably one of the best hotel buffet restaurants in London where you don’t just get the typical English breakfast meal but also has some other Asian flavours to it. The restaurant itself is beautiful, people do come here for afternoon tea overseeing the views and also dine in with spectacular view. Their breakfast has quite a lot of selections to go for. Overall, good place to eat. Though price can be a bit expensive but I guess it’s matching to what 5 star hotel should have in London.

It was a great experience at Ting Shangri-la at the shard. The meal was very lovely, ambience was exotic and the amzing staff ‘Aman’ was very nice, polite, with an excellent customer service. He practically made our evening spectacular by his expertise and friendliness. I would be coming back again. Lovely experience.
